K’Andre Miller’s Rangers absence extends to a second straight game

KAndre Miller did not compete in a second straight game Friday night when the Rangers took on the Ducks at Madison Square Garden.

The Rangers cited personal reasons for Millers absence once again.

He came out yesterday and said he was dealing with some personal things, head coach Peter Laviolette said.

Miller returned to practice on Thursday after missing the game against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday and practice on Wednesday.

Its unclear if he will be available on Saturday in Boston against the Bruins.

As a result, Zac Jones remained in the lineup for a second consecutive game on the third pair alongside Braden Schneider.

Id like to see that switch, too, where theyre on for more goals than against.

“Im sure they do, as well. But I still think that theyre a good pair.
