Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Beticu is committed to making its sports news, odds analysis and betting guides usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

Standards

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA for the pages we publish.

What we have built in

• Semantic structure - every page uses properly nested headings, a single page title, landmark regions and lists for navigation, so assistive technology can move around the page efficiently.
• Keyboard access - every interactive element - navigation, search, accordions, the table of contents and the cookie banner - can be reached and operated with the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
• Skip link - a “Skip to content” link is the first focusable element on every page so keyboard users can jump past the navigation.
• Text contrast - body text, links, buttons and labels are chosen to meet or exceed the AA contrast ratios, in both the light and the dark colour scheme.
• Alternative text - informative images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked as such.
• Colour is never the only signal - selected navigation items, badge categories and status labels are also distinguished by text, weight or shape.
• Responsive layout - the layout reflows to a single column on small screens and remains usable at 200% zoom.
• Reduced motion - transitions and hover animations are decorative and do not carry information.
• Language and metadata - the document language is declared, and each page has a unique title, a meta description and structured data that screen readers and search engines can interpret.

Known limitations

• Some odds and statistics published by third parties are inserted as images and are not machine-readable. Where we control the image, we provide a text alternative.
• A small number of archived articles from earlier versions of the Site may not yet have been converted to the current markup.
• Our comment and live chat widgets are provided by third parties and are outside our direct control; we review them but cannot guarantee the same level of accessibility.

Feedback and assistance

If you encounter a barrier on this Site, or need content in a different format, please tell us:

• Email customercare@beticu.com with the page address and a description of the problem
• We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two working days and to reply substantively within five working days

If you are using a screen reader and find that part of the Site does not work for you, please tell us which page and which assistive technology you are using - that information helps us reproduce and fix the problem.
