About Beticu
Beticu.com publishes sports betting news, odds analysis, expert picks and betting guides. Here is who we are, what we publish, how we make money and how to reach us.
What Beticu is
Beticu is a sports information site. Every day we publish betting and sports news, match previews, odds analysis, expert picks and practical betting guides, alongside reviews of the betting apps and sportsbooks that our readers actually use.
The name is a play on “bet” and “ICU”: we read the market so that you do not have to. Our job is to explain what the odds mean, what the numbers behind a match suggest and which of the available tools are worth a reader’s time.
Who we are
Beticu.com is operated by SevenTip N.V, a company licensed and regulated under the laws of Curacao as a Gaming Services Provider N.V holder of Master Gaming Licence 365/JAZ, registered at Zuikertuin Tower, Curacao. Kashxa Limited (Cyprus, registration number 427606, registered office Aigyptou 12, Nicosia 1097, Cyprus) acts as payment agent on behalf of SevenTip N.V.
Our editorial team is made up of sports journalists, data analysts and betting specialists who cover the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, football, tennis, golf and the major poker circuits. You can meet the team on our Team page.
What we publish
- News and previews - injuries, suspensions, transfers, schedule changes and the context behind a fixture.
- Odds analysis - what a price implies, where the value sits in a market and how to read a bookmaker’s line.
- Expert picks and forecasts - model-driven and editor-driven selections, always published with the reasoning attached.
- Betting guides - bankroll management, staking approaches, understanding implied probability and the maths of the bookmaker’s edge.
- App and sportsbook reviews - independent reviews scored against a published checklist, including safety features such as deposit limits and self-exclusion.
- Responsible gambling - practical tools, self-exclusion guidance and free support services.
Everything we publish is written for adults. We do not describe betting as a way to make money, and we never promise a winner.
How we make money
Beticu is funded by advertising and by referral commissions. When you follow a link on our Site to an operator we have reviewed, and you register or play with them, we may receive a commission. That never changes what we write: our editorial team selects and ranks operators on licence, product, market depth, payments, mobile experience and player support - never on the size of a commission. Read our Editorial Policy for the detail.
Our editorial standards
Every article is written by a named member of the team and checked against official sources before it goes live. Where we get something wrong we correct the article and say so. Our Editorial Policy sets out how we research, how we review operators and how we handle corrections.
Responsible gambling
Betting is entertainment, not income. We are committed to helping our readers keep it that way, which is why every page carries an 18+ notice and links to our Responsible Gambling guidance, and why we score operators on the safety tools they provide.
