Editorial Policy
How Beticu produces its sports betting news, odds analysis and guides: who writes them, how they are checked, how corrections are handled and how commercial relationships stay out of the editorial.
What we publish
Beticu publishes sports betting news, match previews, odds analysis, expert picks, betting strategy guides and app and sportsbook reviews. We write for readers who want to understand a market and make an informed decision - not for readers looking for a guaranteed winner.
Who writes and checks our content
- Every article is written or commissioned by a named member of the editorial team. We do not publish anonymous, machine-generated or scraped articles.
- Analysis is checked against official sources - team and league announcements, injury reports, regulatory notices and the operators’ own terms - before publication.
- Odds and prices are read from the market at the time of writing and are described as a snapshot. We state the time context whenever a price is likely to have moved.
- Reviews of operators are scored against a published checklist: licence and regulation, product depth, market coverage, payment and withdrawal options, mobile experience, customer support and safety features such as deposit limits and self-exclusion.
Accuracy and corrections
If we get something wrong we correct it. Substantive corrections are made on the article itself with a dated note explaining what was changed, and material errors are also summarised in the article. If a story changes materially - a player withdraws, a fixture is postponed - we update or remove the article rather than leave stale advice online.
If you believe something we published is inaccurate, tell us at customercare@beticu.com with the URL of the article and the detail you believe is wrong.
Independence
Our editorial team is separate from our commercial team, and no member of the commercial team can order a change to an article or a review score.
- Commercial relationships - including affiliate commissions - do not determine what we publish or how we rank an operator.
- Reviews are written from a reader’s perspective, and we keep a record of the criteria behind every score.
- We do not accept payment for a favourable rating, a positive mention or the removal of criticism.
- If a conflict of interest exists that could reasonably affect an article, we disclose it in the article.
Responsible gambling standards
Our content follows responsible gambling guidance:
- We do not describe betting as a way to make money or to solve financial problems.
- We do not publish “guaranteed winners”, “sure bets” or systems that promise profit.
- We make clear that the house edge exists and that losses are the most likely outcome over time.
- We do not target or encourage gambling among minors, and all content carries an 18+ notice.
- We publish and link to Responsible Gambling information and to free support services.
Advertising
Advertising on the Site is delivered by third parties, including Google AdSense. Advertisers do not buy editorial content, do not review articles before publication and have no say in what we write or in the scores we give. We do not accept advertising for misleading claims, for products aimed at minors, or for unlicensed operators.
